Electronic appliances will break down over time after many uses. However, you can extend the life of your appliances if you take care of them properly and if you know how to troubleshoot when common problems arise. For instance, if you LCD TV is not responding when you turn it on, you can do LCD TV troubleshooting before you call a repairman.

First, switch it off, wait 10 seconds, then pull the TV plug from the power socket. After a minute, plug it back in and switch the unit back on. If that doesn’t work, look into other possible causes and try to remedy them before spending money for replacement or repair.
