Cobra CB radio
Citizens’ band radio or CB radio is a system of short-distance radio communications between individuals on a selection of 40 channels within the 27-MHz (11 m) band. In many countries, CB does not require a license and, unlike amateur radio, it may be used for business as well as personal communications. The CB radio is used between two CB operators. It can reach up to 4 or 5 miles, depending on the weather and type of terrain in the area. While CB radios are used by hobbyists it is also useful in the car or in homes.
Cobra electronics is a leader in mobile communication products. Its products include mobile navigation devices, two way radios, radar/laser detectors, CB radios and others. In 2008 Cobra CB radio introduced the world’s first-ever CB radio with Bluetooth wireless technology, providing drivers a new means to communicate safely and easily on the road. It became a hot item among hobbyists and CB enthusiasts. Cobra has proven once again its leadership in mobile communication.
