Elvis movies
My father grew up idolizing Elvis Presley. When I was born back in 1970, Elvis was not the popular in the radios anymore. But growing up, it didn’t matter that Elvis was no longer famous or alive for that matter, my dad kept playing his albums over and over again. He also had an extensive collection of Elvis movies. He’d watch them every now and then with my mom, usually on lazy Sunday afternoons over a bowl of popcorn.
I even remember some of the movies I’d seen as a child. Some of those Elvis movies were still in black and white. Elvis always looked so handsome and sexy. He could have been a big movie star too had he not been a rock and roll legend. Although the roles he essayed did not involve any deep acting, he did however have so much charisma that it didn’t really matter if his acting wasn’t that good.
