My kids love playing electronic games. But I am tired of shelling out money on gadgets that get broken from too much use or through neglect. This year, I told the children that I will no longer spend for their gadgets and accessories. They have to save up for those themselves.
One of my sons found this website that sells discount PS2 games. The first time they bought something there using their own money, I asked them to give me the cash first before I would enter my credit card information. Lately, I noticed that they have become more responsible with their things. I hope the lesson of taking care of what you paid for has finally gotten through to them.
