check valve

Have you ever wandered what those steel round stuff that you put in to regulate the flow of water? They’re called check valves. A check valve is a round steel plate made to thwart back flow of liquids. A liquid flowing in one direction opens the valve, while back flow closes it. These are commonly used in industries that need to regulate and control free flowing liquid.

You can control the flow of the liquid by applying pressure on the spring that comes with the check valve. If enough force or pressure is applied on the spring the valve will open to let liquid in. The more pressure you apply the bigger the opening. It will take more than one pressure on the valve to get it to dully open. This device can also be used at home but should be installed by a professional.
