Going to the movies isn’t as easy as it used to be. It costs so much more per person, then you’ll need to buy some popcorn and drinks to go with it. You also might get stuck sitting next to or in front of someone who won’t stop talking. I remember once going to a cinema in Newark and the guys at the back were so loud, it pissed me off. Nowadays, my boyfriend and I just rent or buy cheap DVDs and watch it at home with micro waved popcorn and beer.
It’s much more practical to just watch movies at home these days. There are so many marked down and cheap DVDs available online that you could get as much as three DVDs for the price of a movie ticket. When you watch DVDs at home, you get privacy, get to eat whatever you want and even eat with the lights on. When you watch DVDs at home you can talk as loud as you can and nobody will bother you. My favorite part is that you get to pause your movie, go to the bathroom or answer a call and still get back to the movie and not miss any single scene.
