Going on road trips can be a fun family activity. However, bringing the kids along can be quite a challenge, especially when on long drives. Here are some tips to keep the kids occupied:
~ Bring their favorite toys along. Younger kids would like having their toys around and would quickly play with them when there’s nothing else to do.
~ Have some munchies. Make sure to have some snacks with you. Kids who get restless may also be hungry.
~ Let them watch a movie. Get your family a discount car DVD player so your kids can watch their favorite movies on the road.
~ Amuse them. Make up stories or create games you can play while on the road. Not only will these keep your kids from getting bored, you’ll also be kept awake and alert.
