Sometimes A Camera Is Not Enough
Does anyone still remember how life was like before the digital age? I was born in the 70s and I still remember the bulky film cameras used by professional photographers. They were huge, heavy and the viewfinder lens seemed to show the subject upside down. The photographer would place the camera on top of a tripod and hide behind a piece of cloth that was placed over the camera. It sounds weird and may be hard to imagine but it is true. A few things have changed over time. We now have digital cameras that are so much more convenient. Despite all the convenience there are still digital camera accessories which professionals or hobbyists might need.
Film cameras and digital cameras still share some common accessories. The tripod for instance is a staple among professional photographers. Zoom lenses and macro lenses were also used on film cameras as well as on digital cameras. Some camera brands in fact made sure that when they launched their digital SLR cameras, the lenses used by their film cameras could still be used on their digital cameras. There are however purely digital camera accessories such as memory cards and flash cards.
