Photography is getting to be a popular hobby. The kind of photography that fascinates me the most is underwater photography. The seas are still uncharted territory. Ever since Jacques Cousteau brought use images of his underwater exploits, the whole world got hooked. The good news is there are very good cameras that you can use underwater. They even have built in underwater flash for better results.

I’ve gone scuba diving only once in my life. It was a great experience that I wish I documented. In that short 15 to 20 minute trip, I saw a six foot fish and a giant turtle or tortoise. I wish I had my camera then. Where we went diving the waters were not that good. There was lots of plankton floating everywhere. I guess that’s the reason for the abundance of wildlife. Even if I had a waterproof camera with me, I wouldn’t get a good shot. I would probably need good underwater flash equipment.
