Whether you are a professional photographer or an over-anxious mother of little children, you are obsessed with taking great pictures. Being able to come out with great pictures require know-how. You have to learn the techniques of working with natural or ambient light, using wide angle, zoom, macro lens, etc. A good photo will depend as much on technique, cooperative subjects and the camera. Lucky for us, photography has gone a long way with point and shoot cameras that do all the thinking for us.

Canon has come out with high end advance model cameras that combine the performance of a professional SLR camera and the convenience of a compact digital point and shoot. Their Canon PowerShot third-generation models have specs of as much as 14.7 megapixels, 28mm wide-angle lens and improved face and motion detection. These features make it almost impossible to take bad pictures. Go ahead and take a Canon PowerShot camera with you on your vacation. You will come back with loads of beautiful and exciting pictures.
