Treasure hunters still exist until today. They often travel to the far ends of the earth in search of sunken gold and other treasures. These treasure hunters have all the complete equipment. They have sophisticated underwater metal detectors that help them locate precious gold and silver that might have once belonged to royalty. These treasures if found would be worth a king’s ransom today.
In the movie “National Treasure”, the film opens to a scene of a frozen ship. This ship sank several years ago and along with it was a chest that holds coins and a valuable pipe. The ceramic pipe held a clue that would lead to the location of the many more treasures. The ship had sunk to the bottom of the sea, but many years later, the sea had vanished and the ship was now considered above ground. Had the ship remained under water, the treasure hunters would need underwater metal detectors to find the gold coins.
